All walks use public transport from Manchester. The leader of the party may cancel the walk or change the destination of the walk if a bus/train service is withdrawn or if there is advance notice of significant delays. Be sure to check public transport times a couple of days prior to the date of the walk at the Transport for Greater Manchester 0161-228 7811, website or www.nationalrail.co.uk  phone 08457 484950, to ensure that times have not changed or that trains are not affected by engineering works.

If a Ramblers’ Public Transport walk is not shown for the Sunday which interests you it is because there is a Ramblers’ Coach Excursion on that day so check The Manchester Coach Rambles  Programme Page.   There is also the Ramblers' affiliated group, The Manchester Associates Rambling Club that organise a monthly coach excursion and a Sunday Public Transport Walk when there is no Manchester Coach Rambles' coach excursion.  For details of the Club's Public walks and coach excursions, please contact Simon on 0161 860 0350 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
